- חַכִּיםII, חַכִּימָא m. ch. = h. חָכָם, wise; sage, scholar. Targ. 1 Kings 3:12. Targ. Y. Lev. 19:32; a. fr.Ab. Zar.76b מאן ח׳ למיעבדוכ׳ who but R. … is wise enough to do that?; Pes.76a.Tam.32a אידן מתקרי ח׳ who is to be called a wise man?; a. fr.Esp. Ḥakham, a scholars title, inferior to Rabbi. B.
